Last Night

Last night at camp and it was definitely a good time. The rain cleared just in time for us to have the cook out outside. Following dinner, the DJ brought good beats that everyone was able to grove to and get the last of their energy out.  

Along with the dancing was the inflatable bungie run. The bungie run was an absolute hoot as campers and staff found partners to see who could run the furthest without being sprung back by the giant bungie connected to their waste. To make a good time better, the evening was enhanced by Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

After an evening of goofing off and tasty treats, everyone packed up the rest of their belongings and got organized before bed so tomorrow we can get some biking, swimming and game time in before getting picked up by parents.

It has been a great two weeks of camp! I have had a blast and enjoyed working with every one of the campers! Thank  you to all the parents for supporting your children and encouraging them to push themselves to be outstanding athletes. SDSC is such a great way to learn about their bodies, condition them for a great season and do so while having fun! 

Special thanks to Danny and Matt for welcoming me to the SDSC team. They are great guys with a true passion for ski racing and do an amazing job with the kids and staff. They produce such a beneficial yet fun atmosphere. I hope to be able to work with both of them in the future.
