Camp Videos and Photos

Here at Stowe Dryland Ski Camp we take pride in not only the curriculum we have developed for our campers but also the growth and development of our staff. Danny and I expect so much from our staff and every year they do not disappoint. Their work ethic, passion for skiing, and love of helping young athletes achieve their goals comes from within, but the time and effort Danny and I put in to offer up our guidance creates a great product. It is so rewarding to see these college aged athletes grow in just one week working with your children.

One particular position that I feel has a huge impact on our success is our Media position. Three years ago we developed this position because our camp DVD was such a hit with the kids, and we knew that there were young filmers and photographers looking to build portfolios, shoot different subjects, and learn the responsibly of working for someone. This position is a non-paid internship, but he or she will be able to earn money to help cover the cost of their upcoming ski season, college, or film equipment to learn more about their craft by selling copies of the camp DVD and digital copies of the photographs from the week.

We are fortunate this summer to have Tyler Foulkes back again. For those of you that are new to camp Tyler is a Nordic Skier who this spring graduated from Stratton Mountain School. He will be attending Montana State this fall, and will declare film and production as his major. While at SMS Tyler and a friend started their own company, Revived Films, and produced a full length feature film last winter about the sport of Nordic Skiing. Tyler's passion for film is amazing, he work with the camera, interaction with his subjects, and his unbelievable vision and talent with editing software has helped us capture what camp means to all of us. Here is a short edit of camp so far so you can get a glimpse of his work.

Tyler will be offering the sale of both his DVD and his photos on the last day of both weeks of camp. You can pre-order your DVD by using the PayPal button below.

We figured with a digital copy of the photo you could print your own copies, email them to a place like Walmart, or a specialty store and get a poster size image. This will work the best for both you guys and Tyler.

His profit this week will help fund his first year of film school and we are already making sure he will be back next summer so the DVD will be even that much better!!!

Thanks so much,

-M
