Bingham Falls: a well deserved chill
Bingham Falls was our afternoon destination for some jumps, flips, and dives into the super chilly water. Before we departed, Matt covered cold water submersion as a form of recovery, and why spending time in the water at Bingham was going to help their sore, sore legs. We all got pretty beat up on that hike. It was intense and challenging, but the rewards put an exclamation point on the effort.
When we got back, the staff felt we hadn't gotten enough game time in this week, so we shot over to the Top Notch Field for a few games of speedball and Quebec Ball. Instead of a soccer ball, we introduced a rugby ball into the mix, creating some strange hops and bounces. It added a new dimension and made the kids reactive as opposed to anticipating the movement of the ball. Cool twist.
Outdoor movie tonight!!
See you tomorrow
Danny
