We broke into teams immediately following our opening meeting reviewing SDSC rules. The orientation period is incredibly important for campers and staff alike. We take this time to deliver expectations in a fun way, and then we work towards increasing the comfort level of our campers right off the bat. Our counselors are great, and we turn to them frequently for new ideas, and tonight Ricky and Anna brought dual circle "Screaming Toes" to camp.
After dinner, we hit to the Stowe Rec Path for games of Speedball, a jump in the river, and a test of skill on our Mountain Bike obstacle course.
Activities may have to be skirting around a few rain showers tomorrow, but we're looking forward to our first time on skates in the morning and a return to the bikes in the afternoon.
