This morning we took to the notch for a hike adventure. Last week we hiked the Mt. Mansfield side, and this week we opted for Spruce Peak, the Smugglers Notch side. The terrain was a little more forgiving... at first, but the views from the top were killer.The two older groups (Sweden and Norway) went a little further and made it to the peak of Smugglers Notch Ski Area, where we found Sterling Pond.
Great weather, a great workout, and a lot of fun, we're back to the Round Hearth for a little recovery before heading to the Skate Park this afternoon.
